Who has topped HR.coms 50 Healthiest Cultures Program?

The first quarter results are in for the 50 Healthiest Cultures Program conducted by HR.com and EMERGE International, Inc.


Toronto, CANADA (August 5, 2004)… The first quarter results are in for the 50 Healthiest Cultures Program conducted by HR.com and EMERGE International, Inc. The program is available to companies worldwide.

More than 300 organizations visited HR.com from April 19, 2004 to July 1, 2004, to sign up for the new program that determines the health of the people side and leadership side of businesses today. Companies completed Q2 surveys that were administered using the Cultural Health Indicator, a new cultural assessment tool developed by EMERGE International, Inc. In the end, only 36 companies met all the criteria, which included: survey population and response rate.

The qualifying companies were primarily smaller and were quick to make the decision to engage. They had the authority to distribute the survey material immediately and they had the leadership support to tap into the employee population" without a lot of decision by committee". More than 90% of these participants scored very high in the growth" category, citing that they are experiencing market expansion and customer reach" development. Another similarity among these companies was an overwhelming positive score in customer service" – both internal and external.
