First Linux-based unified communications software now available for instant testing. Combines a telephone, email and instant messaging within one single application.
The Unison demo will allow thousands more people to try our product in the coming weeks

New York (PRWEB) March 20, 2008 -- Unison Technologies (www.unison.com) has launched a live demo version of its Linux-based unified communications software, Unison™. The demo, available at www.unison.com/demo, allows users to try the advanced features of Unison, such as click-to-call and integrated email and instant messaging, without first installing their own copy of Unison Server™.

Unison combines telephony, email, instant messaging and collaboration into a single unified product, with a Linux server and a Windows® desktop for users. Since launching at CeBIT, the product has been requested and downloaded thousands of times, showing the tremendous demand for fully-unified communications.

"The Unison demo will allow thousands more people to try our product in the coming weeks," said Igor Balk, Unison Technologies CTO. "By simply downloading the Unison Desktop™ client and connecting to our managed demo servers, they can immediately experience some of the benefits offered by fully-unified communications."

Currently in beta until the third quarter of 2008, Unison promises small and medium businesses (SMBs) a far superior alternative to the costly and non-unified telephone and email systems they have used until now. By integrating all communication into a single server and client, Unison raises productivity significantly, while at the same time reducing IT deployment and management costs.

To register for a demo, please visit www.unison.com/demo. To download Unison Server, Unison Desktop and supporting documentation, go to www.unison.com/download.
