Mathnasium Learning Centers Announces Expansion Into Mexico

Leading math educational franchise brings its proven teaching methodology to Mexico.

Muñoz, as master franchisor, will helm Mathnasium's expansion into Mexico, handling all national franchise sales in addition to opening learning centers of his own.

Mathnasium of Mexico will offer personalized and prescriptive math-only tutoring based on a student's assessed strengths and weaknesses using the Mathnasium Method™, the company's proven teaching methodology. The curriculum, developed by veteran math expert Larry Martinek over the course of 30 years of teaching, has been translated into Spanish for the Mexican market. "We are very happy and excited about opening the centers," Muñoz says. "(So far) we have had very good feedback from teachers and moms."

Mexico's first Mathnasium Learning Center is expected to open on April 1, 2008. Initial responses to the Mathnasium franchise in Mexico have been enthusiastic.
