New York Medical Malpractice Attorney Comments on Rise of Doctors Being Monitored

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 14, 2008 -- New York medical malpractice attorney's from Levy, Phillips & Konigsberg express concern bout the substantial number of doctors being monitored by the Federation of State Medical Boards's watch list. According to a recent story in the New York Times, 2% of the doctors in the state of New York have been placed on the New York state medical board's watch list. This study includes professional misconduct by physicians as well as medical malpractice and negligence. Attorneys from Levy, Phillips and Konigsberg commented on this recent development and are outraged with this growing problem.

Many doctors on this list are being monitored for sexual misconduct, which can also lead to a temporary suspension of their medical license.
