McDonald is a well-known industry expert with over 11 years of experience working with biopharmaceutical companies assisting them with their patient recruitment and site selection strategies and connecting sites with sponsors. Prior to joining ELS in November 2007, Dan served as SVP of Strategic Development for D. Anderson & Company, a leading provider of global patient recruitment and retention services. The majority of Dans career was spent with clinical trials information services provider, CenterWatch, where he most recently served as General Manger and head of Thomson Healthcares Clinical Trial Solutions Group. Dan will lead ELS business development team and be responsible for strategic planning and new business development.
Heather Balcarcel joins ELS from CenterWatch where she spent the last nine years, most recently as the head of their marketing department. She brings to ELS extensive industry experience in brand positioning and strategy. Balcarcel will be responsible for increasing awareness of ELS and improving overall brand positioning.
