Website Promotion Helps IT Recruitment Business

The Edinburgh and London based IT recruitment firm approached website and search engine optimisation specialists Objective Associates to ensure their website could be found more easily by recruiters and job seekers alike.

Jan Mutch, Operations Director, at Bright Purple said, "We liked the look and feel of our site but we were aware that our website had two problems - one was that it was difficult for us to update but the second and more important was that we simply didn't get found on the web if someone was looking for an IT vacancy in Edinburgh".

The solution introduced by Objective Associates was to kill two birds with one stone. Alex Ogilvie, Business Development Director, with Objective Associates said, "We tackled the problem by looking at how the core data advertising the IT vacancies could be used to help improve the position of the site in the search engines. That helped us design a system that was easy to update but also easy for the search engines to read and understand".

The companies report a significant increase in the traffic levels to the Bright Purple site following the Search Engine Optimisation activities and an increase in the number of unsolicited calls coming into the offices of Bright Purple from potential candidates.
