New Video Makes Case for Original Constitution

World's Last Chance, a nondenominational online ministry, has released a new video explaining why God's law, The Ten Commandments, is still applicable today.
Christians today place much emphasis on outward appearances at the neglect of what matters.

(PRWEB) May 15, 2008 -- In response to Ten Commandment Weekend held each May the nondenominational online ministry World's Last Chance has launched the first of a video series explaining the true significance of God's eternal law. World's Last Chance shows why true believers should be more concerned about following God's Commandments in their heart than trying to safeguard the display of His Commandments on public property.

Ten Commandment Weekend (May 2-4, 2008) is an annual movement begun in 2006 as an effort to fight court rulings calling for the systematical removal of the Ten Commandments from public places. By contrast World's Last Chance believes the issue of whether or not the Ten Commandments should be displayed in public places is trivial from heaven's perspective. In the New Testament, the Bible states that God wants to write His law in the hearts of His children.

"Emphasizing the importance of hanging the Ten Commandments on our walls while disregarding the adherence of its precepts -- including the fourth commandment's Sabbath observance -- is the same as emphasizing the importance of wearing a cross necklace whilst neglecting to invite Christ to live in our hearts," says Dahlia Doss of World's Last Chance. "Christians today place much emphasis on outward appearances at the neglect of what matters."

World's Last Chance is burdened to outline the true importance of the Ten Commandments because the ministry holds that Satan despises God's law because it is man's only means for knowing what constitutes sin. Satan's main agenda is to have the world believe that the law of God is not binding. Thus he keeps men ignorant of the fact they are sinners and in need of a savior, leading millions to reject the gift of salvation that has been purchased with the blood of God's only begotten Son.

Doss concludes, "If we love God, we will love to obey Him and will be in harmony with His law. It is when our love for God wanes that we start dwelling on outward acts."

Many think the world's original constitution -- the law of God -- has been changed or abrogated; it has not. To see why, click here and see World's Last Chance's "The Ten Commandments Case," the first video in the series.

"One may ask, but wasn't the law nailed at the cross?" Doss asks. "The coming video in the Ten Commandment Case series will address this ubiquitous belief."
