Pewaukee, Wis. (Vocus) May 9, 2008 -- CC&N, a full service communications technology company, announced today that its board of directors has elected Alan T. Biland president and chief executive officer. Biland replaces current president, CEO and founder, Richard Hettwer who has led the company since its founding in 1986. Mr. Hettwer will remain with CC&N as non-executive chairman of the board.
Biland, 49, was most recently senior vice president of Snap-on Incorporated and president - Snap-on Tools Company, LLC in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Prior to that, Biland served as president - Diagnostics and Information, as well as chief information officer (CIO) for Snap-on. He held positions of increasing responsibility in Information Technology with CNH Global, a manufacturer of Agricultural and Construction Equipment in Racine, Wisconsin before joining Snap-on in 1998.
Biland has also served on the board of directors of The Hillman Company and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
