Los Angeles-based developer defies the odds in the current real estate market, finding success in under-valued, under-utilized properties in cities many overlook.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 7, 2008 -- Declining property values, stagnating construction, almost non-existent financing options… these are just a few of today's harsh commercial real estate realities. Many developers have closed their doors in recent months, and still others are finding it difficult to make a profit. Yet one Los Angeles-based developer continues to defy the odds with its innovative development strategy, finding prosperity and profits in some unlikely places.

We see value where others do not, in neighborhoods often overlooked.
Creative Environments of Hollywood ("CEH") has found its development niche, revitalizing communities in need throughout Los Angeles. "Our focus on undervalued, underutilized properties is where it starts." according to Zachary Schneiderman, Vice President of Finance at CEH. "When we can help revitalize a community with new, creative construction, often times utilizing local labor and talent, everyone succeeds." CEH's current live-work offerings include spaces all around the city: Seeley Studios in Glendale, Spring Naud in Chinatown, Artisan Lofts in Echo Park, White Knoll in Elysian Park, Cosmo Lofts in Hollywood, Westmoreland Lofts in Silver Lake and CEH's newest creation in Lincoln Heights, Lacy Studio Lofts.

CEH has been dedicated to the survival and revival of L.A.'s overlooked and underutilized areas, many of which were once crucial to the prosperity of Los Angeles itself. With a sensibility for its past, CEH renews each property with a distinctive mélange of historical integrity, progressive function and contemporary aesthetic that is at once necessary and indulgent. CEH continues to successfully cultivate its reputation as the premier firm in real estate investment, development and management for L.A.'s urban environments, despite the status of the broader real estate market.

Schneiderman attributes the long lasting success of CEH to a variety of factors, not the least of which is the company's business model. "We leave nothing to chance. We have inhouse architecture, design, development, construction and property management. By controlling all the variables, we control cost, quality, timing and service." When asked how CEH selects its properties, Schneiderman answers, "We see value where others do not, in neighborhoods often overlooked." He adds, "We never lose sight of our responsibility to our partners, our tenants and our communities."
